Tonight, July 28th is the Annual Gospel Night at the MLK Concert Series at Wingate Field.
Starting at 7:30PM, this free concert will showcase Grammy Award winning duo Mary Mary, whose single "Shackles (Praise You)" became the first gospel song in five years to crack the Billboard R&B top ten and was covered on American Idol (click "read more" below to see the video)
Next up is Tye Tribbett and the Greater Anointing Gospel Choir, who gained fame for their performance of Let Go, Let God on the Prince of Egypt movie soundtrack, as well as performances on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
The evening will round out with Dr. Ricky Dillard and the New Generation Chorale, whose single The Light is currently at the top of the Gospel charts.
